Lord Varaha rescued Bhumi Devi and defeated Hiranyaksha, demonstrating that the Lord descends to protect His devotees and restore cosmic order.

• Devotees hear the Varaha pastime from Srimad Bhagavatam, offer prayers and worship, and observe the prescribed fasting and feasting schedule.
