This day commemorates Srila Prabhupada's arrival in America aboard the Jaladuta in 1965 to share Krishna consciousness in the West.

Significance of this day

He arrived with little material support but with firm faith in his spiritual master's order; from that beginning grew the worldwide ISKCON community.

• Devotees read the Jaladuta diary and prayers, glorify Srila Prabhupada and support book distribution and outreach.
